Gregory Dahl worked closely in 2005 with the City of Fort Lauderdale and the Mayor's office to implement an improved BellSouth fiber optic telecommunications network in District 4.

Gregory Dahl and Absolute Technologies introduces Windows Vista, the newest major version of Microsoft Windows, the proprietary operating system developed by Microsoft. Prior to the announcement of the next major version of Microsoft on July 22, 2005, it was known by its codename Longhorn, after the Longhorn Saloon, a popular bar in Whistler, British Columbia. Microsoft released all versions of Windows Vista on January 30th, 2007 including business, and consumer editions. The release date comes more than five years after the release of Windows XP, Microsoft's current consumer and business operating system, making this the longest time span between releases of Windows. Windows 7 (formerly codenamed Blackcomb and Vienna) is an upcoming version of Microsoft Windows, a series of operating systems produced by Microsoft for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, tablet PCs, netbooks and media center PCs. Microsoft has stated that it plans to release Windows 7, "in time for the holiday season" of 2009, less than three years after the general availability of its predecessor, Windows Vista. Some applications that have been included with prior releases of Microsoft Windows, including Windows Calendar, Windows Mail, Windows Movie Maker, Windows Photo Gallery, will not be included in Windows 7, some will instead be offered separately as part of the freeware Windows Live Essentials suite.

The Future of Microsoft Windows 7!

It is expected that the exact release date of Windows 7 will be October 15, 2009. Unlike its predecessor, Windows 7 is intended to be an incremental upgrade to the Windows line, with the goal of being compatible with applications and hardware with which Windows Vista is already compatible.
